    Thanks for the sizes.

So how do you figure it is going to be put together? Is the face plate just the single piece of plexi? If so how do you put the artwork on; would you need two pieces of plexi to sandwich it in between or do you expect people to get it printed on vinyl and put it on like a sticker?

Also what would be your cost on just the plexi face plate? As I know some members have some wood working skills and can make their own box. Ideally I would see myself a buyer of one fully complete with plexi face and wood box for $20 or less. Maybe about $10 or less for just the plexi.

Also as for the variance don't know what you could really do about that. I would say just increase the whole size but then you might have odd sized gaps. I think increasing the whole size might be your only option though. Also have you thought about how to hold the display in place? I would think screwing it to the plexi plate with some nylon washers in between would be the easiest way.

Oh and this is just my personal preference but could you possibly custom cut the sheets of plexi? As I was expecting to use a push button like this Red Happ Style Long Arcade Button Ships from USA | eBay on my counter. (I mean come on who doesn't want to push the big red button? I mainly chose it because I hate that cheap little one that comes with it.)

Let us know what your thinking about. We are all here to give you our input.

Love the big red button! Don't know much about it though. Do you happen to know the mounting hole size? 24 mm?

Plexiglass can be cut with a knife, a band saw, a router and many other ways. It's not the easiest material to work with, as you probably know. The pieces shown were laser cut. I don't have a laser cutter and ordered them. There are size restraints and shipping is a big part of the cost. I get 10 at a time. Thinner plexiglass is available but doesn't ship well, have had experience with breakage already...

I'll attach a PDF, to scale, in a zip folder. I can give you the dimensions you ask for, but a paper template might be easier for you to work with. The paper is supported by the wood behind it. A cover stock material works best.

More details to follow, as it comes together...
