Well this person is a member of Pachi talk and I was told it was not in my budget but if I could find him a buyer he would give me a finders fee of $1500. Jax where are you??

He has also plastered all of his pictures on the arepachi site. Very thoughtful of him.

It is a nice machine but he needs more than roses to smell.
Over the hills and threw the woods, pachi hunting we go.

The price is reasonable for someone who wants a ORIGINAL UNRESTORED MINT MINT MINT perfect machine. If there is another one out there like this please let me know and what was paid for it.
    Thanks

I don't pretend to know the value of your machine, I do however read almost every darn post on this site. I have never seen anything even close to a fraction of what you are asking. Of course, I have never seen an original in mint, mint, mint condition either, so I'd be curious as to what you based your price on. Have you seen other machines of this nature command money like that.

As we are hobbyists here and vintages seem to have taken center stage recently, I'm sure we would all love to know if this is in fact a reasonable amount based on other sales.

    Thank you.

I belive Eddie bought a few of these last year or the year before. If I remember right he posted pictures. I'll have to try and find his threads on the subjects.

As with any collectable the more original and unrestored the higher the price. This is like stepping back 30+yrs all original and working. The price of any collectable in Good to Perfect unrestored mint condition is a minimum of 100x so if a good unit is worth $250 then a mint one is worth $25k+- just like coins cars comic books etc... Unless you can show me differently

I guess in the end, it is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. Good luck with your sale.

Something is worth what people are willing to pay for it. One can say something is worth 10's of thousands, getting someone to buy it is another. I've got a Premier version Gold framed Yellow Cab, only one known to exist, but could I get thousands for it? Probably not.

Curse you Dattia for saying it first!

Of course if someone with a bunch of money doesn't find you, it'll be something your heirs sell for a couple hundred after your gone.

Only one in existance of a collectable is not good there are no other collectors of it. But have many collectors of a item and having the only original is far more valuble

Just talked with my kids about it - I thought the same as you, but they said if I do not sell it they never will - they have grown up with it. They think I am crazy to even consider selling it at any price.

Your going to have to explain that one to me, how does having the only known example of something equate to no collectors of it? You collect baseball cards, there's one you don't have, only one known to exist, it's worth less than any other card you have?

I assume you mean that there are few people who would recognize any given pachinko as 'rare'. Of course you realize that with lots of collectors of any given thing, they set the value, not the seller.
