    Default Robocop pachinko opinions

    Hi,

I'm thinking of buying a robocop pachinko. Has anyone any opinions on it, ie it's playability or sound/lights/fever rounds. I've looked in the museum and it's been given 10/10 from arby, but, from 1 person, I just wanted to see what other people though about it?

If it helps, I already own a speed racer, a thunderbirds (pachislos) and one LOTR (pachinko). I think however, the LOTR has very long dry spells, but amazing bonuses! Is robocop more leaniant in bonuses?

    Thank you

    Alex

If you can pick it up for £50 from Dudley, I'd said it was well worth it!

If Arby gives it a 10/10 then that should be good enough. I would take his opinion over anyone in here as to how a pachinko is.

I like my Robo...I'd give it an 8.5 - 9. The animated Robocop arm/gun etc are cool. I wouldn't worry about dry spells too much, just open up your pins a little. The videos are good, but get a little repetitious after a while, although I still see something new on rare occasions. So far every fever I've hit on it goes through an identical series of animations for each level. My only complaint, is the music...it gets old pretty fast. I have the black case and it looks really nice in the black "Gneiss-case" I built for it. It's a good machine and worth getting.....but I like my new Saint Maria more though.

Guess there could be an E-Bay bidding war going on, Ive seen the black Robo on there too. Theres also a Yellow Cab Pachinko on Ebay UK now (near me) but it looks like its a bit x-rated all girls in Bikinis etc. What should I go for the Robocop or the Bikinis ????? Robocop is 80`s retro cool but well the other machine has its attractions too!

Normally, have the war then the love comes after, may just have to buy em both ??? Ive been offered a/multiple Robocop/s at £57 without power supply units (plus £25 - £30 for the power supply) but theres still postage/shipping £30 for the first machine then £25 then £15 for each after. The Black one on Ebay UK starts at £50 and shipping would be £30 cos I asked the guy, but its got a power supply. I`m not sure what colour the ones Ive been offered at £57 are tho (orange or black). The Bikini machine looks good but without knowing exactly what pics are on it I dont know if I could put it on general display in my games room. Have to keep it out of the way instead ! I cant see it being too rude tho cos its made for parlours. Either way I`m planning my bidding strategy for at least one machine so UK Ebayers beware !

I like the attempt at using the license but, thematically, it's sort of a mess - they could just have well used any police-like character in the machine and it would have worked. That plus the rather ho-hum gameplay and I'd give it a 6/10, you could do worse but you could also do much better.

Dont forget that Robocop only uses half of the field since the big Robocop plastic makes it a primarily left sided cell.

Well someone bought the Ebay one for about £85 so they must have wanted it despite the lack of left side play and a big plastic robo. Probably a bargain at that price tho.

I paid about $125 for mine from DGI. It was very clean with hardly a mark on it anywhere.

Well changing my career path has crossed my mind if it enabled me to travel around collecting my pachi like you do & getting paid to do it as well. The trouble is we just don't have the same number of sellers over here in the UK as you do over there.

Although on the ones we do have most of them are quality sellers!
