    Default Blues Brothers Model A

My latest project has been turning this "no name" Model A into a Blues Brothers themed machine.

What I decided to do, was to add led's into the playfield, circling the playfield. There are 15 flashing led's around the playfield and 5 flashing led's in the center feature.
I'm still working on getting the machine put back together, but the front is pretty much done and the led's are temporarily hooked up.

Here are some photo's and a short video of the Led's working.

Seeing your work on these is inspiring. Love this theme choice in particular and wish I could find broken old pachinko near me to do this with.

I got the back put back together. There were some missing parts, the upper hopper and the down tube w/spring that feeds the payout hopper.

I had a upper hopper in my parts bin, but no down tube. So, I decided to make one. Using PVC tubing and a compression spring.

All the wiring is permanently ran and secured. Addition to the playfield LED's, LED's were used for the payout lights and hopper empty lights.

The center feature, light in upper left, the payout window and the 2 green lights next to the payout window all lite up on payouts. The payout window flashes red when the hopper is empty.

Drunkencalm had an idea of having the spinners look like records.
I thought it was a pretty good idea and decided to change the spinners to look like spinning records.

This thread is inspirational. I never thought I wanted a vintage since I don’t care for the simple artwork. The idea to modify the theme by replacing the playfield has me interested. I can see several space and rocket themes as well as movie themes. Talk is cheap, but I like this idea. Great work.
