Hello I recently joined this forum to find more info about pachinko, I'm glad I found your site!

My interest in this game began many years ago, my father had a vintage pachinko machine he brought back from Japan in the 50s ?. Over the years it got worn out, we really didn't know how to fix it.

Now I'm interested in buying a machine. I've been trying to get one on ebay (outbid so far :02: ) but soon expect to have one.

I've seen various prices and qualities, from "el cheapo" sold as is with broken glass etc. to the latest from Japan (what I really want, but I can restore one too I think.)

I'm wondering if anyone has experiece buying off ebay: Would it be feasible to restore an old pachinko offered as is (I have a friend who could do the power supply if needed.) How much work is involved in restoring?

Or, would you suggest getting the latest for my money, and any good ebayers you suggest buying from? I've seen several that sell the same type machines, wondering what to consider in choosing a seller?

Welcome zoneacgamer. I have never played a vintage pachinko, but have three new models. I did buy mine through ebay, from Texas Auctions (TA). I would suggest that you take your time and read all the auctions. TA's machines are nice, but he has been known to embellish his items. SlotUSA also sells pachinko's as well as Stealthhome (Milt). And of course from time to time members of this forum have sold machines here.
