    Default Coins not paying out

Hello, first time owner here. I just recently bought a Gin Gin Maru Slot and for some reason, it won't pay out any coins (either when you press the payout button or if I hit over 50 coins). I am getting an HP error and the sirens go off and I have to hard reset it. I tried to clean the Hopper sensors and it has no problem when I manually eject the coins. I'm hoping this is an easy fix, but I have no clue at this point. Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Sounds like the sensor that registers the tokens as they eject is bad. Manually ejecting count when they eject.

Doesn't count when manually ejected. Sorry, couldn't edit the original response

Thank you. I'll check there. Do you know of any possible troubleshooting tips on this? I just want try absolutely everything I can before I sink more money in this machine.

Truthfully, I'm more familiar with Yamasa machines. I went learned on two I had with the coin reader sensor issues. Ended up ordering new optic sensors from Aliexpress, couldn't find any here in the states.

Darn. Hopefully I'll be able to mess with it some more and figure it out. I did take a picture of the hopper itself and it's a Juki JSH-777B if anyone else ends up seeing this and has any troubleshooting ideas. I couldn't find an exact match on ebay, but I'll keep looking.

Here's another thread that describes I think the same problem that you're having: https://www.pachitalk.com/forums/sho...-HP-quot-Error

Maybe it will help with troubleshooting, I wonder if your machine has the same 'stutter' behavior that's mentioned in the first post. The root cause fix is in post #5 (cold solder joint back at the Power Supply faceplate).

Oh my word, I just read through this, and honesty couldn't understand what they were talking about. I'm so awful with technical terminology and don't know the first thing about cold soldering. It was the same error code, but mine won't even spit out a single token! With them saying that even replacing the part didn't work, I'm extremely hesitant on buying a new hopper. I found the model in my machine on eBay, but it's $75 before taxes. Thanks you for finding that thread!

I feel like the most logical explanation would be the sensors. Everything else seems to work properly from what limited knowledge I have of these. I see that grizzlypower2001 mentioned they bought some replacement sensors, but couldn't find any in the states. If anyone else on here knows of a good place for this replacement part, can you please leave a link? I looked on ebay, but I don't see any.

Take a pic of the sensor, I did buy extras. Ali express (chinas amazon) is where I found them after a google search

Just posted them. I don't want to break them any more than they possibly are, so just to be safe, how would I disconnect them to replace them?

That clip holds the wire plug on the sensor. With a small flat head, left the tab and pull the plug. The remove the phillips screw holding down the sensor. Now look for any numbers.

First do you have lights on the main board? On my Yamasa, all the sensors trigger a feed back light on the main board. If you do, you can go through each one and see which one if faulty. I made a list of all mine, when my coin sensor was bad, it locked the sensor closed ( like a light switch stuck on). From my list I made, I knew exactly where to look.

Yes, it does have lights. I haven't disconnected them yet, but I will tomorrow. I can see the where it says sensor 1 and 2, makes so much more sense now. When would these light up?

Thats your power supply, mother board or main circuit board is usaully above the reels.
Mine light up when you "break the beam". I use a piece of paper while looking for the light feed back, put it in between the black towers.

Here's what's above the reel. Where should I look to see it light up?
