    Default Nishijin B question

Hi all, I'm new to Pachitalk. I've had a '73 Nishijin B for about 15 years, and it seems to work fine. It was getting kind of grungy, so I thought I'd give it a cleaning. Once I got it apart, I found it had been apart before and a MacGuyver repair performed. It appears a part broke and was rigged with a twist-tie to get it working. I also found 2 balls in a place where I don't think they belong.

If someone could post a picture of the part in a non-broken state, I would appreciate it, and also verify I can just remove the 2 balls.

BTW, I also have a '71 Nishijin recycler that I just picked up and gave a good cleaning. I had to replace the bottom board of the frame as it was rotting from water damage.

    Thanks for any help,

    Tim

I see no reason for the twist tie..just remove it. And the balls too.

There is a rod attached to the twist-tie that I'm pretty sure used to be attached to the white chute right above it.

Otherwise the lever assembly below serves no purpose.

On jackpot payout the balls will lower the ramp pushing that rod which in turn lifts the paperclip looking part in the lower winning ball shoot to free the winning ball.

I understand what it does, that's why I'm hoping someone can give me a close-up image of the complete part so I can rig something closer to the original
