Default Help needed: how to play/win in Mermaid Chance Pachinko

Hi, brand new here and pretty new to Pachinko (this is my 2nd machine)

My 1st machine was a vintage Nishijin, which I converted to use British batteries, so was pretty simple to use.

I've now bought this one, and it's a much more complicated game, and I've basically no idea how to play or win the game. I'm also not 100% sure it's in order and working properly.

The info I've found out is it's a Sammy Machine, dates to 2003/04, but that's about all I can find. I don't even think it's called Mermaid Chance, but the site I found that had the date listed, I can't find again and I can't remember what they called it.

Any info you have would be much appreciated, but if someone can tell me how to play it and how to win the jackpot etc, that would be fantastic.

I've taken photos of things I think might help you, but if you need photos of specific areas, just let me know and I'll take them.

    Thanks!

Google translates it as Mermaid the Boon. But I could have mistyped or read it.

Odds are set at 1-348.6 That can't be altered.

    How to play.

assuming everything is standard and the machine hasn't been messed about with. Have at least 500 balls. 1000 is better.
Put a few balls in the rear tank. Make sure teh balls roll down to the payout motor on the rear right side and don't fall out the back. If good, then put a couple of hundred balls in the rear tank. Thats the payout/prize balls.

Supply the machine with power, via a 240-24vac transformer rated at about 5- 8A (no idea- can't see the VA rating) Looks like you alreay have a transformer fitted.
I also see some sort of ball tube in the rear as well.

Turn the machine on. If you can. Pop open the front glass/door rather than the whole machine. It may set off an alarm.
Drop a ball in the centre pocket below the video screen. You should get a payout of 4 balls ( On this machine) to the front tray. in addition. the video reels should also spin.

If you drop a ball in the side pockets, you should get a 10 ball payout but no reel spin.

Thanks for this! I'll have a play tomorrow. I've not had a single pay out when playing in the past, so I think something might be wrong.

When I've looked today, the balls going into the shoot at the back weren't all the way down. I've moved a leaver, and the balls loaded right the way down, so hopefully that's enough to now be able to pay out.

If I struggle tomorrow, I'll try to get some more photos and see if anyone can spot what's wrong.

Out of interest, any idea of the value for the machine?
