Playing pachislo reminds me of the words of a programmer for the massively multiplyer on-line game "Everquest" (some called it "EverCrack" because of its addictive properties). He stated that Everquest was so addictive and people were spending so much time on-line playing the game because "we programmed the game in such a way that the player will regularly win SMALL trinkets or complete minor quests all the while reminding them that there is a HUGE REWARD "just around the corner", which they can win if they play "just a little bit longer".
In your opinion:
1. Which pachislo machine is the most addictive? (gives you the "I'll play just ONE MORE TIME" feeling.)
2. Which pachislo machine takes the most SKILL to play and/or beat? (a game where you really feel that you are using your "Eyeshooting" skills or hitting combos in the correct order.)
3. Which machine brings you the most enjoyment? I am asking them because I'm interested in your opinions on if an addicitive game ("I'm gonna win 500 tokens on this machine NO MATTER WHAT!!!") or a game with a lot of combos to hit and complex bonus rules neccessarily add up to an enjoyable machine. Are there machines that are your favorites because "It's not a flashy machine, no lights, no bells and whistles, it has basic bonuses, but I don't know, it's just FUN TO PLAY!!!"? What are those machines in your opinion?!?
