Reading through this forum, don't believe you would think non-pachi would be too much of a problem? You can post about anything here as long as it is no worse than PG-13.

Ok, I sold some nitro powered R/C trucks on ebay, (2 pack) It sold for 560. As I was packing them up while waiting for payment, I noticed that they weren't the models that I stated. I emailed the guy about this. He hasn't sent money, but is throwing a heckatious fit. I told him if he didn't have a problem with it, I would cancel the auction. Yeah 20bux worth of ebay fees lost but oh well. I am proud of my 100% feedback. He is threatening to contact ebay fraud protection on me cause I misrepresented the items. What should I do? After 43 auctions, I have never been down this road before.

you still may be able to go in ebay site map and cancel all bids,

if not, you can request credit from ebay for selling price. you may be able to get it back

If it isn't over that is your best option is to delete ALL bids. If it has ended....hmmmmm.....Check the trading post area (everything else). Someone in there is an RC guy I think. Maybe he can give you some guidance on how off your models are. Maybe if it is just bearings vs. non or something you might be able to deduct a fair price off the final bid. If it is all aluminum body vs plastic or something then you might be screwed. Did you look at ended auctions for the correct model?

How off were you? I believe your main concern is the neg. feedback you may get to tarnish your record 100%. If it was a slight error then the bidder should cool off and you guys should be able to negotiate a better deal to mend each end. But if you posted you were selling a T-Max with all Options and a HTI Savage and found you had a couple of Radio Shack buggies, then it could be a different story. What was the description and what did you have?

I'm gonna have my T-Max JUMP my 4 Pachislo's come springtime!!

    Scooby Doo,

Since the auction is over and now you realize that the auction items were not accurately described, you need to do the following:

    1. Notify the buyer that you made an error in your listing and that you regret the error but you must cancel the auction. Instruct the buyer to not send payment and that if payment has been made by Paypal, then refund via paypal. Inform the buyer that he is welcome to bid in your auctions when you relist the item with correct descriptions.

    2. Cancel the auction with appropriate explanation immediately.

    3. Relist the auction with correct description and pictures.

    4. Cancellation of the auction may save you from a negative feedback. The longer you let the matter fester, the uglier it becomes.

the auction is already over. and in the description it was "as is" buy at own risk. I notice the screw up when I was packing them up. So I sent him a friendly email. and thats when it went all to Now he is accusing me of not having the items.. He hasn't paid me yet. and I told him if he didn't care that i was going to cancel it and he threatened to referr me to ebay fraud....

"As is" and "buy at your own risk" does not protect you from an inaccurate listing on your part.

Forget about the money you almost made.

Only a true and accurate listing and auction will reveal what the items are worth. You will never please this guy.

You are better off without any money changing hands and just cancel and relist.

But that's just my opinion. Good Luck!

If he knew your name (maybe from email), getting your adress and phone number is a snap. It's of public record (phone book, real estate deeds if you own your home).

    Scooby Doo,

It sounds like he got it from eBay.

Check your email. You should have an email from eBay giving you his phone number and telling you that the buyer requested your phone number. Only the buyer or seller in an auction can do that. Other non-winning bidders cannot.

PS : I am happy to hear you worked things out.

Im going to throw my 2 tokens worth in this as a ebay buyer and seller , I am the person on here that is into RC cars and I was PM about how to sell on ebay and the seller knew what he had after he aproched me about buying prior to listing on ebay , I suggested he list seperatly and refer to his other auction from eachs auction also I suggested these would be about 200 to 250 for themas they were not Tmax 4wd as he stated to me , they were 2wd , Im sorry I feel the seller put up a erronious listing knowing full and well they were not as discribed ,he told me he got screwed from the buyer he bought them from , This is gospel truth and you can check my emails back and forth with dates etc, Hope I havent deleted them if so let our guru admin dig them out if poss
Im not hiding but I feel the truth must be told no matter what
