Owners Players opinions Superman Returns or Eva 6 Pachinko

Looking to get one of these 2 machines. Need opinions of the pros and cons of both and lights, animatronics, enjoyment factor of each.

I haven`t watched any of the eva series or played any of the machines in series. Machine looks really cool.

Superman has some cool animatronics but also alot of cartoonie figures unlike Matrix which shows alot of movie clips.

What do you guys think?

As to the two machines, I would go with Eva 6.

Very fond of the Eva 6... But never played the Superman. I am a total Eva geek, tho. Have been since the original tv run.

I would say watch at least the first few episodes of Evangelion (it would be best to watch the whole thing) and then decide if you like it or not. I would say if you are not a fan of the series then the machine will be much much more interesting and exciting. If you don't like it then Superman would be a better choice as it has great animatronics and two screens and it is hard to go wrong with a series that is liked by all. Evangelion as a machine has more depth in gameplay with many more hidden modes and goodies, but in Eva 6 they are notoriously more rare. You might also want to wait for Eva 7 as I think we will be bringing some of those in a couple months and it looks like they did a really good job with Eva 7. I'll try and report back soon once I know if we will be able to get a good number of Eva 7's as it looks like they have finally started to come down to a reasonable price.

Thank you. I was just watching one of the Matrix movies last night and it got me to thinking about getting this machine again.

There are the "Rebuild" movies... 1.0 and 2.0 (or 1.11 and 2.22... whatever the US DVD/BD releases are labelled). Eva 6 has content from the 2.22 movie... particularly the "randy yet nearsighted" British girl, Mari Illustrious Makinami. And the retooled "randy yet violent and stuck up" German/American girl, Asuka Langley Shikinami.

That way you invest only 4 hours or so... the tv show... 12 or so? ending in an hour of mind trip...
