    Default WTB Nishijin B Parts

    Hello All,

Hoping someone has spare covers for the jackpot mechanism and the jackpot seesaw for a Nishijin 'B' Super Deluxe that they'd be willing to part with.

    Thanks,

    JrzyEd

William Cardwell at Pachinko Restorations? I've not done business with him. He has them on his website for $10.00. Thought I'd see if anyone had an original or both pieces before I went "retail". Thanks for the reminder though.

Hey! Thanks! It was your poke that reminded my feeble brain that I saw them at one time somewhere. Have you done business there? Heard any comments? I did pick up a machine for to cannibalize for parts, but the more I saw it, the more I wanted to restore it! Actually got it working mechanically OK today. Cell is pretty messed with water stains, don't want to attempt that!

I have used Bill's (aka cardwwi) covers. They look pretty good and fit perfectly. They certainly don't look exactly like the originals, but I think they are a pretty good substitute.

I may have a jackpot see-saw available. Can you post a pic of the back of your machine so that I can make sure it is the right one?

    Thanks!

I have done business with Bill before. He is a great guy to work with. I have yet to buy his parts (I have bought only backgrounds) But I sorta know how he makes them and they will last just as long as the originals.

In a few months I may try experiment with reproducing the jackpot covers. I need a few myself. (like around 20 of them)

I have seen bigger ball jams. But that one is pretty big.

Looking for a Power Flash brown ball-return chute that screws in the back.

My Power Flash came with a blue one but I don't think it is the correct model as it will not always drop into the bottom front tray, and it's very hard to align with the shape though it looks like it should fit. Here's a picture I found online of the blue return-ball chute I have. It's a Nishijin part for sure, but perhaps it comes from a slightly different model Sophia?

Sorry, I can't post pictures at the moment, my machine-made Casio Elixim camera broke while trying to replace a stupid simple battery cover; the thing was buried under multiple layers; ridiculous, anyways, waiting for a new one in the mail to post my part.

    Maybe someone needs it?

make sure that when ya find a replacement cover it has the tabs that help keep it closed.. Ya know, where the wingnuts are.. some model "B" machines dont have the plastic wings for the catch (like the one ya pictured.. it will not work right)

My Power Flash has the wing nuts and metal tabs that slide out, but I think this blue ball-return chute is slightly taller and it is very hard to fit into place and when it does fit into place the balls do not always exit but get caught on the inside edge, which tells me it's probably from a different Sophia model like the one pictured.

If you want or are able to take a picture with your cell phone and then you could text it to me and I'll get it uploaded here. If that works for you send me a PM and I'll give you my #.
