Operation Difficulties

Hi Guys,
If anyone can answer this, they get 50 brain points.
My cousin just arrived from Japan and he brought back 2 pachinko machines, Star Wars and Top Gun. I took the machines and changed the transformers to a 5amp 24vlt 110-120 (I purchased it from Slot USA). I turned on both machines and although the LCDs were turned on (very impressive) the pachinko launcher was not working. I dont believe the sound was working either but I could be wrong since the launcher was not functioning. Is there a reset button on the machines I need to press or is there something wrong with the transformer? Has anyone had the same issue I am having??. I believe Arby and a few other members import machines straight from Japan, did you guys experience anything like this:questionm

Check for the dongle that replaces the card reader connection at the parlor. Have a look at this thread to get a picture of what they look like.

To test the sound open the window and drop a ball in the center pocket.

If the dongle is there and sitting correctly then check the fuse near the dongle it might have blown, odd that both are like it though. My bet is on the dongle.

Also, make sure when you turn the shooters wheel your hand is in contact with the metal strip behind it.

Guys, I just wnat to express my sincere gratitude for replying so soon. I honestly appreciate it and its great to see a tightly knit group. Anyhow, due to the fact that its 11:30pm here and my wife and kids are asleep I am going to have to wait until tomorrow morning to try it out. I was wondering what those dongles were in a seperate envelope. In the back of my mind I thought they were printer serial adapters and I had no idea why they were included.
I am very excited about tomorrow morn and I will let you guys know if it works.

Plug in your Dongle and your good to go

Works well!! Thanks for all your help guys. Hey, one more question. The lcd is functioning well but the lights around the speakers are not on. Perhaps all the bulbs burnt out?

Right when you turn the machine on, press the chance button.

I think that cycles a case bulb test as we just discovered in a recent post.
