new to forum and new to slot machines

Hi just want to thank every one in advance for help as for xmas got my 90 year old mother a bally 5000 plus slot machine for home use,,, she does not go out now,,, and she loved to go play the slots,,, i found this machine but it is not working yet,,,,, i hope to get it working for her soon,,,, i am a retired service tech but have never worked on a slot machine,,,, i have been doing a lot of reading on line about these and have found and ordered some manuals and started to replace a few items on it that i can see for sure are bad,,,i live in council bluffs iowa,,,I have photos of the slot and would like to know which area on the forum would be best to post my questions and photos to find help on making the tests to find out what is going to be needed to get it working for her.... thanks my name is bill

i have some things for the 5000 plus.. i have the manual and i have a set of clear chips as well..

its been a few years since i sold mine.. im sure ya will find great help hear
