Wiring Power question?

Hello all

It's a dumb question, but not worth losing a machine over.

I moving machines around, and to use my rail system, I have mounted power to a piece of wood, when I moved a machine, wood and power fell on floor, so wires disconnected, so here the question, does it matter how wires connect? There no +/- showing, and wires seem to be same color on every machine, but again, it's not worth losing a machine over if I screw something up

Ac power doesn't matter. Thats why you can put the wall plugs in either way.

only if you forget to connect the transformer to begin with........

BUT I'm sure you will not connect a 24v machine to a 110v supply.....
