Default Star Wars pachinko (might go under radar)

Here's a Star Wars Pachinko for sale on eBay UK, this one may go under radar as it's listed as a pinball machine

Star Wars Pinball Machine on eBay (end time 09-Aug-10 1537 BST)

Although the listing and pic are somewhat lacking in detail, it is a super start price of just £0-99p and I can't see a reserve

Could be worth checking out if you are near to it, and also finding out if there are any pachinko balls included at all

I'll give this one a punt. Not close but worth a travel out for a good price.
I search in odd places on ebay.Never spotted it.now it is posted here that will spell the death of a star bargain.

(Death and Star in the same sentence )

not necessarily, a lot of UK members will already have this one in their collection, so hopefully it will stay cheap for you

Good luck with the bidding, may the force be with you!!

Star Wars is always a favourite in my house, it's the one that sits permanently in a wall mount cabinet in the living room, swapped it out a couple of times for other lumina framed ones like Julie Pinball, but always end up putting Star Wars back in pretty quickly,

Looks like the seller of the Uk machine has added more to the description. The balls fall down the back rather than the front.Thinks some thing is missing. This would be my first Pachinko. So any Ideas on what to look out for and how to test operation of the machine. If I win the machine

I wonder if the Seller is just referring to the balls that are lost??

If so then it is normal to provide your own container, receptacle, dish or whatever to catch the balls in at the back to stop them spilling out all over the floor

Here's the Star Wars Manual from our Research Centre, it shows the main points, one of the pics (think it's 5th page?) shows the rear of the pachinko, you will see a blue container labelled 'tray location of spent balls'

PachiTalk Research Center - Machine Manuals - Star Wars - PachiTalk

Hopefully this is what the Seller is talking about
, or they could be referring to the ball dump being in the open position, think the location of this is around page 8 in the manual

Could be that the Seller is not very familiar with pachinko, hence calling it a pinball, but if I were you i would ask the Seller to confirm that the machine powers up okay and that the video screen works etc,

Lets hear it for tupaware containers
Maybe the seller things the balls are meant to come out in the lower ball tray?

Sorry put not sure if this item has a part missing, when the balls have got around the pinball, they are dropping through the back instead of the front.

Dont know if there is a part what should collect them or not.
Sounds just like he's just talking about the played balls, which are supposed to come out the back, so I don't think there's anything to worry about!!

But since he posted that in big bold type it might keep others from bidding..So that's good for you!!

Keep searching eBay or here. Either for balls or complete machine. I might get The lord of the rings machine for the 700 balls that are with it. Shipping balls alone is quite expensive due to size and weight. Say about £10-30 for the balls and £30-60 for postage.
Or bulk buy from japan, ship by sea then sell the rest to us

    £42!!

    is that a good price??

Well, considering I paid around £300 or more a few years back for my own, then I would say you got one heck of a bargain!!

Yes it's a bit more difficult to source Pachinko balls right now in the UK, but you will probably get advice from other members regarding shipping them from abroad perhaps?? (something I've not done yet though)

Or do as most of us seem to do and look for cheap pachis that come with balls, and buy them up just for the balls

Or as a last resort you could make your pachinko sick, errr 'Cyclic' which involves recycling just a few balls, but there are no payouts (again something I have never done as I love the pachinko mad rush Fever rounds)

    Congratulations on your super buy!!
