How to play this machine

Got this machine recently. I have no idea how to play it. The mechanics are working, and one light (top right) lights when hooking up a battery. So how do you activate the jackpot. There are all sorts of slots for the balls to fall into.

Were you able to get the balls out of the back of the machine that were stuck in the jackpot exit?

That has to be done first.

Then:
reset the see saw
make sure main ball block is not in the ball block position
ensure the ball dump is in the correct position
fill top tray
put a handful of balls in the shooting tray
place lost ball tray under lost ball chute

Shoot a few balls and see what happens

Subtleties:
adjust shooting handle spring so your style of handle flipping rewards the most jackpots
use your fingers as a spacer to shoot consistent shots in the sweet spot for your machine

I'm getting there, one quick question, remember i'm a newbie:

I think i got the first 2 steps, but what is the ball dump? and the correct position for it?

You will know if the ball dump is open because all the balls you place in the rear reward hopper will immediately run out to the drain ball chute.
