Default Trying to identify machine - any known diagnostic utilities?

I am trying to identify my machine. I am also having some electronic problems. Video screen does not fully display and game will not react to ball play.

Is there any diag utils that can be connected to the onboard parallel port?

the 25 pin "D" connector is for the parlor ball loan system. If you don't have a bypass or daverob dongle on it the shooter will not work. I don't know of anything that can be hooked to any pachinko to troubleshoot it. I am sure that there is something but I can bet that they are kept inhouse at the factory and would not ever be anything that the public would ever see

photo[1].JPGThe machine used to work perfectly but sat in storage for a couple of years. Now it powers up and only about 15% of the lcd display comes on, they balls will shoot.
apparently there is 1 line number status indicator on the back that says7 and there is a list of these debug numbers on the back. unfortunately they are in Japanese. I have attached an image of this list.
I have looked everywhere on the unit for a reset switch. THey only thing i can find is a volume selector.

Hi - your machine is Densha (train) de Go! - hard to translate, but the feeling of it is 'Go Train!' in English.

The Kanji name for your machine, which you'll find on the back of your machine marked on a plate somewhere, is : 電車でGO!

The full name of the machine, as released from Sankyo, is : CRF.電車でGO! (CRF stands for 'Card Reader FEVER' and is a common designator for these deji-pachi machines by Sankyo)

    Here's a link to it on Masai777 database : http://www.mansai777.com/machine/det...el_id/m0000141
There is always another machine around the corner...

This machine has a lot of exposed wires on the back and since you said it was in storage, maybe things touched the back of the machine loosening
connections. Check ALL of the wire plugs on the back. Facing the back of the machine, on the left hand side above the shooter motor are three(3)
fuses. Check them also. I didn't see a reset switch. Just because a machine sits for long periods of time doesn't make things go wrong with them, as
long as they sit in a dry enviroment.
Hope this helps you out some.
