Default Take a look and tell me what I got! (new to this)

I bought this machine about a year ago for $50 at a flea market. Ive loaded the balls in it and they shoot and come down fine. It seems to be missing the loader and is there something thats supposed to be in the back at the bottom? From the little research Ive done - it seems to be a 1976 Sankyo. It has the words "C. Flower" in the middle part. Did I get a good deal or is this a heap of garbage? any info would be appreciated.

no way is it junk.. your missing the large ball hopper off the top.. and you need a simple ball bucket or catch for the bottom.. tupperwear or something of the sort..

that is a nice looking clean machine..

Well... you kinda got a good deal...

The biggest problem with the machine is that it is missing the top tray or hopper. This is what holds the balls that will be 'paid out'. These trays get broken alot and probably what happened to your.

The good news is that the first set of ramps that lead from the hopper to the jackpot area is there and it also has the ramp levers and has the connectors that lead to the lower section of the machine.

So... fixing your machine will be a matter of fashioning a hopper/tray with a hole in the left hand side that will feed the loading ramp. And I say fixing because by replacing this tray and loading the machine with balls will activate the 'hopper empty' ramp levers and allow for your shooter to load balls.

When a machine is out of winning balls, the ramp levers rise (to the position they are in now) and subsequently activate a blocking mechanism to prevent more balls from entering the shooter.

Fix the tray... fix the machine!

Good luck and your machine is very clean and will be an excellent investment...

Looks to me to be a really nice pachinko, as others have said it is missing a top hopper for holding the balls, I'm sure you could make one by adapting a container perhaps??

I'm sure the members will have suggestions for what would work,

Welcome, And hopefuly someone will have a parts machine to help you out. But that is one of the easyist parts to break.

Good find and nice machine, youll have it running in no time.

Thanks for the expert insight! Im not sure what Im going to do - fix it or sell it...or fix it then sell it. I kind of like it and I remember playing them as a kid. Ill try to find a hopper for the top. I didnt realize how good of condition it was in until after I cleaned it up and played it a little. Guessing at how much to sell it for is another question. Ive seen some similar to this on Ebay etc for $150-$200. That sound about right?

ebay can be weird.. i have seen machines i would not pay 25 dollers for sell for well over a hundred.. and i have seen truly unusual machines not sell at all??

clean it up and sell it at least.. a working machine is always worth more

Get the machine working, replacement parts and then sell it. Otherwise its not worth anything to anyone but for spare parts or scrap.

if you can't find one, you could make a temp one out of just about any plastic container

baby wipe boxes make good ball return boxes in the back
