Spin Luck Offer

I just had a very good friend visit today. He loves to play the pachi's. He doesn't own any, but he really enjoys the slot action when he comes over. He noticed I had a new machine in the game room. He immediately went over to the Spin Luck and started playing it. He was blown away. I said " Yep, that's the imfamous Spin Luck" Well to make a long story short, his wife loves the game show "Wheel of Fortune", He offered me $1000.00 american money to take it right then and there, for a Mothers day gift for his wife. I think he wanted it for himself also.

What would you have done????
Take the money, or keep the Spin Luck in your collection.

I told him no thanks, sorry not for sale at this time, maybe in the future. I'm keeping the Spin Luck

Thats a lot of money - not having a Spin Luck I don't know what I would have done. I suppose it depends on how much you needed the money & how much much you were in love with your Spin Luck

They are getting quite hard to find these days, I know it took me a while to get this one. Who knows when another one would be available.

I'm with Sid on this one. I reckon you made the right choice. Imagine if you had sold it then had to wait for months till you could replace it - you'd be torturing yourself. But, you might have sold it and bought one for $400 less the next day! Peace of mind or the gamble....

If it were me it would have been $OLD! Immediately. Sold my only one I ever had for like 500.00. Its a great machine but they can be had for alot less than 1,000. I actually prefer a few of the machines I have Currently to Spin Luck (meaning the Price of the few adds up to the cost of 1 Spin Luck).

The thought never crossed my mind, I told hum no thanks quicker than he told me the offer. Hey let's face it you know the addage "Everything is for sale" I was just curious to find out what others would have decided.

The odd thing about this is the guy doesn't know didddly about pachis, he has played all of mine numerous times and never offered to buy any of them. It just goes to show you how cool the Spin Luck machine is. For a non enthusiast, he recognized the appeal of the Spin Luck instantly. And was willing to shell out a grand for it. Pretty neat.

I would have done the same, probably even if the offer was $2000. It would take alot for me to part with my Spinluck, In fact I'll probably get another if the opportunity ever comes up at a time when I don't want something else to add to my ever growing collection.

I think I would have countered with a $2000 price tag... but negotiated down to $1500.

I wouldnt sell mine just to go through all the hell of replacing it again. I just sold to very personal Motorcycles and really regret it.

Its probably easier for me to let things go. I have been selling of personal collection items all my life. 10 cent ebay listing day has me putting up my Multi Ms.Pac-Man. Cant keep everything. Heres the Pachislo Machines I will probably end up keeping:
