I've fallen and can't get up

Well yesterday about 10:00 PM I did something stupid. I did not have help to get some sheathing up on to the roof of the new pachi room. I was using a tractor with a bucket and forks to get it up as far as I could. I had to stand on the sheathing to get each piece up on the roof. They slid off the bucket, myself with them. I have never hit the ground so hard! Well now I have two broken ribs under my right shoulder. Will be off work for some time and the pachi room will take even longer to finish. But look on the bright side I get to take narcotics and take to many and be in loo loo land like I did earlier today!

About three years ago when I had a pinched nerve in my back I had some real potent stuff to take. I stopped taking it after four or five nights of incredibly weird dreams.

Hope you're up and around real fast. I've heard pachi people heal quickly.

Sorry to hear that, Laz. Get better soon...and try not to laugh too much...that really hurts busted ribs!

This has put such a crimp in things I don't laugh much Tony. The ribs are broken in the worst spot. Under my right shoulder, and my job means I need to use my right arm and shoulder a lot. I have been trying to use the Percaset as Little as possible because I can't drive until I am off of it, but the over the counter stuff is not working to well, Of coarse!

Yes Logic. When I was taking a shower today I looked in the mirror. All the bruises are showing and I can see that it was the top of the shoulder and bruise on the temple that shows I fell head first. It felt like I hit the ground on my whole right side flat like a sac of potato's! I can see now that I was vary lucky! Witch reminds me. I should make out a living will. You never know when something could happen. My personal things are easy they go the the wife to do with as she likes. Tools get divided and stored for my kids with the tools from my dad separated so they know those are from there grandpa. Now the Pachi's are a different story! Some are kept for my kids. Bet you can't guess witch ones! Others have to find good homes with other members here if possible.

Well the doctor gave me a slip to go back to work today. Called the boss just to have him tell me that two jobs are messed up and there is no work for the remainder of this week and the next
