    First off to Pacitalk!

Finding a replacement motor may be a really hard task. As there really are no spare parts or new ones for these. The only way to get a motor is hope someone has one laying around or you have to find a parts machine to pull one off of. But finding a parts machine is rather hard as there are few Kan-Less machines that were imported.

But I think a memeber figured out how to use the machine with out it. It isn't the center feature motor right. Those are even harder to find.

If you have any questions just ask.

I bypassed the lift motor in my Elex-rotary with a small wood block just past the overflow gate. It is not a recycler any more but an easy fix still leaving the machine working fully.

to PACHITALK! Have you tested the motor yet? Also have you checked to see if the wires going to it have 25 volts? I got a Kan Less pachinko on eBay, and was lucky that it works perfectly...although very dirty with some broken plastic pieces and some missing parts. The motor might be hard to find unless you find a parts machine, which could be an expensive motor...and you might find yourself trying to fix it too! If you like, I could get mine out and measure the voltage of the wires going to the motor so you can check yours. Some pics of yours would be nice, I'll go first.model A electric 006.jpgmodel A electric 022.jpgmodel A electric 020.jpg

I expect that you already checked for voltage at the connector that the motor plugs into. Mine has 29.9 volts AC with motor running.

I'm not that sharp with electronics...but I thought that one voltage by itself probably means very little, so I took some more readings. This is the transformer on my Kan Less. This is fuse removed, no load voltage from transformer. 30.1 VAC. This is fuse installed, motor running. 29.8 VAC. This is motor unplugged, no load at motor connector. 31.7 VAC. Keep in mind that AC voltage fluctuates and these are the volts when the shutter opened. The actual voltage fluctuated about 1.5 volts up and down. Hope this helps!

I have re-worked the sprocket wheel on the motor shaft and it now works much better. Previously, I had it mounted on a rubber bushing and that was not solid/secure enough. It now seems to work like normal and seems not to jam. I still would like to have a proper replacement motor, but can live with this if necessary.

Thanks for all the advice and help.

    Regards,

    Hank

Excellent job!!! Glad to hear you got it running again. Fixing it yourself is the most rewarding thing about these machines, IMHO.

A member is selling a bunch of parts at the moment. He has a lot of motors for sale. See if you can find what you need in his lot and send him a PM.
