Help with auto credit

I am trying to make a diy auto credit. I have successfully installed an auto stop using an Arduino uno. I have plenty of pins left on the Arduino board. I was wondering if anyone has done an auto credit using an Arduino. I don't have an oscilloscope to hook up to the optical sensors to see what kind of signal is being generated when a coin passes through. That information would be helpful if anyone has it.

You would have to send the impulses in order to match the order of sensors. Shouldn't need an oscilloscope for that.

Simple test.

Unplug the coin mech. If the machine goes into fault you know the sensors are normally closed (or high)

If your going full tokenless. You need to monitor the power to the motor, so you can send pulses for the token out sensor.

I’d like to help work on this too. Have you made any progress? Atlanticom wrote code for an auto credit mod but my coin mechanism was different than his.

I’m curious. Did you use my write up for the arduino auto stop? What type of machine do you have? Can you share some pictures of your coin mechanism?
