Default Is there a penalty for not shooting during fever?

Always wanted to know if there is a requirement to shoot balls during a "Fever" round in order to advance.

Do you have to shoot balls... or can you just sit and stare

    Thanks,
    RR

I think it depends upon the machine or the version of the machine. I hit a fever on my Stars Wars last week and wondered what would happen if I didn't shoot (I also wanted to sit back and enjoy the light show) - it went through all levels without me getting one ball in. However, I have read previously that other machines need you to get so many balls in to progress to the next level.

I too have heard that you can not advance, unless you get a certain # of balls into the bonus gate every round. I have been to round 10 on one of my machines machines, and I get tired LMAO. Sometimes I wonder how many rounds I can go...

All of my Sankyo pachinkos are just happy to sit an flash lights with no shooting but some like Pretty Band need at lest 1 ball in the trap or the fever ends.

Cutey Honey will go thru all 15 rounds with no balls shot, a few of my other ones do too.

I also have a few that require at least one ball each round to continue.

My Nurse pachinko will go into error with an ambulance and flashing red light and requires a full reset.

I have noticed that if I don't shoot, The fevers seem to take longer. But that may be just my perception...I have never timed it out.

Needless to say, the more you sit and stare, the less you win and fare.

Pachinko balls are made to go in endless circles. Such antics as staring could upset the karma of the pachinko universe! Beware! Beware!:compdesk:

I've noticed that Fever Jenken Battle will not progress to the next level unless you get a few balls in.

Most of the older machines (most v-wing games I have played) need a certain amount to progress to the next round in a fever. Janken Battle is one, I think Aqua Nine and Construction are a few more. Most of the newer machines lets you enjoy the show, you just don't get the payout of the fever if you don't shoot.

I'm pretty sure one or two of mine will exit the fever round if it doesn't get any balls in the trap.

I'm with Bilko on this one. I heard if you don't play the fever through and stop shooting, your balls become warped and start to wobble.

TOP GUN will run through all 15 rounds and just let you sit back and enjoy the show.

I have games that will play through a fever without needing any balls to advance, games that need balls in the win door hole thingy to advance through the rounds but won't end the fever if you don't get any in and some games that will end the fever if you don't get any balls in!!

I think Yellow Cab requires balls in the gate to continue the fever

I have 7 machines and they all "play through" w/o needing balls in the gate.
