Have I been banned from the museum? I wanted to try the new link to add to my favorites, went there, it asked for my username and password, gave it and it told me there was an error. I tried several more times with the same result.

Okay, new computer, maybe I should register. Tried that and was told there was already a user by that name with the same e-mail address.

What's going on?

I know all of you know this..........but I thought I would share a couple things from my econ classes.

Question: Why are Democrats considered liberals and Republicans considered conservative?

Answer: It has to do with how the parties interfere with the free market system. Republicans very rarely(conservative) impose constraints on the system. While the Democrats freely(liberal) impose constraints.

What does this mean?

Well think about like this. If you have a product to sell, say widgets. And you sell a thousand a week for $100. The government comes along and imposes $20 tax on widgets. In order to maintain your business you have to pass the the cost on to the customer.

So the new cost is $120. Therefore because of the new cost less are sold. Instead of a thousand, only eight hundred are sold. Which means you cut production - laying workers off.

This is a very simple view (and would probably have gotten me a F on a test), but basically how it works.
