Yes the old transformers m/c is Gundam One year war, Well my son says its from Transformers or something.
Im sure you will find a picture of it if you do a search.
Its an old m/c and i know 5 play .com have some left they are in chesterfield here in the U.K. and i think mine was about sixty quid

I'm no expert on robots in disguise or anything...but I'm pretty sure Gundam is a separate license all together. Both giant robots but not the same.
I know it may seem to be a small difference to most...but as a child I always HATED getting Star Trek toys when I was a Star Wars fan. I would always hear...well they are all they same. No they are not...one is Star Wars and one is Star Trek...not the same.

I was about to make the same comment about GUNDAM being the same as Transformers, but that Star Wars vs Star Trek conversation really brought back some painful memories.
I remember wearing generic Nikes, and fake Adidas. Getting Battlestar Galactica, instead of Star Wars, and my cigarettes and beer came came in yellow packaging with big bold black letters.
(4th Grade was a tough year!)
GUNDAM has several unique features to it. Some people love it, some people hate it. It has a 3-D Gundam head that sticks out of the front of the machine. Cool lighting, Sound Effects, Video Screen.
Kids love this machine, even if they dont know who gundam is.
