New to the Pachislo world. Quick question...

Hey all!
Just picked up my first (hopefully not last) Pachislo machine. I got a Cranky Contest unit for $25...and it works! Just smelled like cigarettes and was filthy. I've cleaned it up and it works great. My question is: what is supposed to go under and to the right of the token/coin hopper? It's an empty area with an oval cut out and there are 4 metal pins mounted to the back of the unit. They have wires attached so I fell they are for something that missing from my machine. Also, when inserting coins, they just go down the hopper chute and fall out of a hole and end up on the bottom of the machine. Is this normal or am I missing something? Thanks in advance!

Hi, that's just a casino heads-up coin overflow area that's missing its basket. You could rig something up to prevent the tokens from getting out of the hopper. By the way, Welcome to pachitalk!
