Default What are vintage pre-90s auto launcher knob-controlled Pachinko models called

One of the difficulties when searching up for pachinko machines is that any time your type in vintage pachinko or mechanical pachinko in the search engine it automatically brings up the rod based manual machines where you flip down on the lever to shoot the balls. Practically all searches for knob controlled or auto shooter pachinko will bring up modern machines with the large TV screen taking up most of the machine's center

So because I want to buy some of the models in relaesed betweent hose era. Basically the ones controlled by turning the knob and shooting the balls manually but otherwise with a layout prettyy much the same as the ever flipper machine where there are more scoring holes than modern stuff and there's no TV screen except opting for cool mechanical flashy movements of parts in front of you everytime you score. Which were first released on mass commercial scale in the late 70s and practically became the hottest thing in the 80s and 90s eventually involving into the modern center LCD screens designs that are the ubiquitous models today.

What are they called? Really need help so I can find models at Ebay or some other sites more easily and faster!

    digipachi

but honestly they are called all sorts of things from the accurate term to "chinese pinball"

it's probably easier to just stick with "pachinko" and scan each entry manually.

also probably easier, if money is not a huge factor, to scan yahoo auctions japan.

Kinda a tough era to find working machines. If you're looking for modern pachinko machines without the large TV screen taking up most of the center, paging @lotsoballs
    Searching for an arrangeball.

Haha… I think he’s referring to hanemono type; aka type 1, aka wing type, aka feather type. The #1 gameplay type of the 1980’s. They still make a few hanemono models every now and then.

As in all mechanical center feature; no LED, LCD, CRT screens or spinning reels like a digipachi (like 95% of new machines) no matching spinning digits required to score (scoring 777 ect) ; just skilled aim/timing.

If I’m searching yahoo auctions I just go through each and every pachinko… You can’t rely on sellers to categorize them correctly for you; they may not have any idea whether it’s a type 1, type 2, or type 3 machine and just trying to sell an old machine not provide a detailed description of the gameplay type. Some do… but most do not.

    Example: “Animal land”

    Newer example “Sky Racer”
