How long have you had a pet living not dead

I've had my Goldfish and Plecostomus since 2009 and for $4.99 each I did not expect them to grow and thrive so long and yes they are both the Most Healthy pair of animals that I have seen !

Sam the Goldfish is 18 inches long and Pete the Plecostomus is over 2 Feet long and they live in a 29 gallon glass tank and feed them Ziegler Spiraline Algae & Veggie Sinking Wafers since I've had them .

I've had tons of pets, currently just 4 cats and a bird!!

Accidentally stole one of my neighbors cats!!

In kindergarten for mothers day I was allowed to have first pick of the litter of my best friends cats kittens. She was a wonderful, loving pet for our family for many years, I think she lived until I was in junior college, so probably about 14 years perhaps?
