    Default I'm new!!!

    Hello all,

I'm new to the forum. I run a rental company and I purchased 2 pachislo machines to rent out. I bought the azteca legends with red speakers and the outlaw. Both have LCD displays. I want to buy a few more. Anyone have any suggestions on machines? I do like the ones with LCDs. Also is there anything I should know?

I also would like to know if anyone else rents out these machines, how many tokens do you give out with your rentals? How many tokens would you keep in the machine and how many would you give them to play with.

    Thanks in advance,

    Michael

PS I didnt do a search so if I asked common questions sorry....

I think if your renting them out you might want to try to get the more american themed 3 reel machines becaues most people want to throw "vegas" like casino parties so the more american the machines are my guess would be the more theyll like them. As far as token i'd give out 500-750 tokens per machine.

Hello and welcome to the site Michael.

Since you appear to be stricly purchasing these of others use, I think that theme in not that important. I would try to stick with the American themed units as you'll be dealing with people without a clue most of the time and how much time do you want to spend educating them?

As far as tokens, you will have less issues with your customers being happy if you provide more. Are you giving them a key to this machine when you rent it? Brave man if you are. If you're not, how are they refilling the hopper when necessary? More tokens would limit their need to venture inside the machine. It would also provide you will less "what do I do now"? types of phone calls. I would think 1000 minimum. Factor in a loss of some from each renting unless you're going to count them each time.

I wont be giving the keys. I dont mind giving 1000 or 2000. How many can fit in the machine hopper so that if they win a jackpot it wont empty? I was thinking about giving 1000 and leaving 1000 in the machine, does that sound about right? I am charging $75 per machine plus a $25 token fee if it looks like alot of them are missing. I bought these machines because they kinda looked cool. What would you recommend? I do like red white and blue, But I didn't want to spend $300 on a machine since I bought both of these machines shipped to my house for $360 total.

I think these will add on great with a margarita machine for grad parties and laui type parties.

i think 1k tokens in and 1k tokens out of the machine would work great as for what machine i'd look to purchase would be machines like. super reno, horseshoe, etc. these are more american themed machine which are basic 3 reel's so they shouldnt be that expensvie.

leave the reset key in the machine, hang it inside or maybe hold it in with some duct tape.

have the door key on a short chain attached to the back of the machine, so they can't lock it in the machine.

How long are they renting them for and what's odds setting are you going to put it on? The longer they have and the easier it is to win, the more tokens you'll have to supply. It also depends on the type of machine it is being "A", "B", twin B, "C" as to what kind of payouts you can expect.

Ya, Michael and I think alike, since were in the same business in the same state. I like the babel look, I may buy that model to customize. As for tokens, I thought maybe 1,000 in the hopper, 1,500 to use, and planned on placing the skill level at number 3.

For the keys I am going to keep both on a key ring, and buy a chain so I can chain it to the back of the machine, in its own pouch. I'll attach something. I just want to figure out about 4 hours of play time, maybe up to eight, and see how many tokens are actually used. Maybe my daughter will be up to the task.

I can't believe the price of tokens.

    Welcome to PachiTalk, Michael!

A machine I would recommend is Las Vegas by Olympia. Here is the link to my review of it in the museum.

It is an Americanized pachislo, speaks in English, plays Jazz in bonus rounds. I bought mine from Big Bear in a three machine package recently. Check his wholesale page for good prices on machiness.

Best of luck in your endeavor!

Temporarily, go to youtube.com and search for BudgeRahe for videos. Until I get the links set up in the museum

I think im gonna do real well with these machines. I have 3 other people who are going to start renting them also. I think the more they get out there, the more people will want them and make this industry alot more profitable.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes.

Well, I dumped 1,500 tokens into my outlaw, andthe hopper was overflowing. I'd drop tokens in and they would drop through the overflow on the hopper. So I'm thinking that machine can only go out with about 1,000 in the hopper, and maybe a thousand for them to play with. I may rig a stand where th overflow empties into a bin they can access, instead of them having to access the machine all the time.

On the Azteca Returns, same thing.

Now the Mepisto, my least favorite, til I get the volume mod installed, well, the hopper was overflowing with 750 tokens in it. the cut out seems awful low on that.

So, it looks like a custom stand, with access to an overflowbin, so I can keep customers outta the machine as much as possible. I had planned on offering 2,000 tokens with each, but honestly, I'm not sure thats enough. I can see a lot of tokens being run through in the typical 4 or 8 hour rentals we have.
