Alright! lets get a group together and go!!!

I would love to go to Japan and experience Pachinko in the pachinko hall, but being disabled as I am, I don't think I could make such a long journey...

So it's cheaper to actually buy them at a Pachinko Parlor than on ebay?

I wonder if how many times somebody is carrying a tray full of balls and trips and they go flying everywhere!

Assuming a buyback rate of 2.5 yen per ball, that's 25000 yen, which is very roughly $250....

I don't think so, they around 4 or Yen per ball. The buy back is only around 2 1/2 to 3 Yen.

Looking REAL closely at the pix, its plain to see I could never play in an actual parlor.. My wheelchair is too damn big!! Never fit in even close enough for me to grab the handle!!

I don't think the pachinko parlors allow you to remove the balls from the premises as they "rent" them to players and, therefore, retain full ownership of the game balls, even the stray on you might pick up on the floor.

I used to work for TWA and eventually they were bought out by American Airlines... Well long story short they didn't need TWA computer people because they outsourced. But they paid me well to do the conversion as well as giving me three months of flight benefits. I decided this was my chance to go to Japan... I Had a friend going with me who had relatives in Tokyo!!! Well I flew to Japan first class ans back for only $209 bux. While I was there I could have sworn I had seen a pachinko that looked like it had some form of Hologram in it in Shinjoku.... Well no-one believed me here and I figured it was just me seeing things and I was prolly starstruck from looking at all those machines... NOT to mention the icy cold towels they had for free at the door... It was July...

Well I noticed after I recently found pachitalk!!! that wasn't "seeing things" they really do have holographic pachinkos!!! ME wants one! I plan on going back someday... I wish I was one of those world traveler types...

    my lil story...

By holographic do you mean a large see thru video screen (18-20inch+) like this one that is in front of the playing surface ? Here is the thread url where I introduced it to Pachitalk members : http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2565

We have had these so called holographics on Pachislos (Neo Planett etc) but they are not true holographics.

Well I know without smoke and mirrors holographs arent possible... but Hall effect styles are and that is sorta what they did. I just knew that they didnt look like mine!
