    Default Yet another Spin Luck

Ok everybody, another Spin Luck to tempt us on e-bay. Since the seller is apparently a PachiTalk member, perhaps he can give us a little insight as to the serial number. Could it be lower than Tulsa's famous #219...or could it be #5001 that would dispell the "only 5000 ever made" legend.

For captainchris86: if you listed the serial number, I think that would command an even greater interest in the Spin Luck listings.

Sorry capt. it seems if a seller has less than 1000 pts. or is not an established pachi seller they get approx. 60% of the price on high end machines and far less of the price of a big dealer on lower end machines.this is futher helped along by most people on this site refusing to buy from anyone but the big guys. it would seem this only hurts us as it keeps the smaller guys out of the market.look at vgc and zcore.a realistic price for a non dealer is about the range yours was bid to. actually i expected it to stay below 500.00.

I think there are also other factors at play and soon to be in play. One of course is the time of the year as this has to be a tuff time to sell Pachislos just because people are spending on vacations, gasoline etc.

Next is what you are saying that established dealers will always get more.

Then the emerging factor that may actually hurt the overall values of all Pachislos : The Knockoff Trademark violating conversions that are starting to roll out from everywhere. Once people see these they will not see the value of a real Harley Davidson or SpinLuck Pachislo since you can pick up knockoffs for a lot less money. The "Newbie" buyers will not understand the difference and of course a Budweiser or Miami Dolphin Pachislo will be easier to validate purchasing for 100.00 than a SpinLuck for 600.00. Then when they see that nothing really matches the pictured theme on the Pachislo, they will become discouraged and get out of the market after being laughed at and called a fool and a sucker by their friends and family.

And to continue the thread, I still have No. 935 but managed to sell
No.2222 to a lucky buyer for the reserve offline and increased the token total to 1500 (newly minted)

As a note regarding the small guy like myself in the Mighty Empire of EBAY, I will continue to try and offer some of the more desirable models with a great opportunity to myself and others to donate a percentage of the final sale to charities that are offered through EBAY.

A percent of that offline transaction will go to charity! For those interested the minimum charity donation is 10% of the closing value for sellers on EBAY.

I did'nt take it as mean. It is true you have to have a rep.
Hope you have good sales in fall.

Yes the major sellers are going to do better simply on their reputation. Chris and Milt and Eric deserve their reps. The others, well they do too.. Everyone knows of my fondness for VG... bwahaha

It is a shame that a smaller seller can't seem to garner as much in an average ebay auction but not only reputation but warranty also comes into play. This is an important item that cannot be dismissed.
