First purchase

Hello everyone.

I just purchased my first pachinko machine - a Nishijin B model in what I think is pretty good condition. A little bit of pitting and wear on the exterior and the expected corrosion on the mechanicals. I bought it to refurbish for fun, so we will see how it goes. I have been reading everyone's posts and look forward to using all of the good information that has been documented! Thanks everyone.

It does look to be in good condition. Lots of jammed balls to retrieve...which is a bonus actually!

You might be able to get them out by operating the winner ball release and draining them out

Thanks! Freeing them was the next thing I did after taking the pictures. There are maybe 25, all engraved, which is cool. I'll start the refurb this weekend!

Engraved pachinko balls might be a really Cool thing to run through your machine But they can get extra dirt in the engraving and then could wear out the ball path and spread dirt throughout your machine .

That is why they now have smooth chrome plated pachinko balls in the parlors to eliminate that extra work to keep the machines functioning right .
