I think that you are referencing the ball dump. The sliding part opens the pathway to allow the balls to fall to the collecting bucket...I think.
You can peruse ebay or Craig's List or similar sites for used machines or parts.
Is it completely missing?

I just restored one of these machines. Can you post a closer and clearer picture of the problem area and I'll compare.
I make 3D parts if something is missing, but I can't tell from these pics
