From what I have seen on YouTube, you need copper sulfate crystals (root killer), copper material (you could use house wiring), and a battery. I'll probably just buy some spray lacquer.

I like this idea! If you ever try it...it deserves a thread of it's own!

Well if I do it, which I may since there are people interested in it. I will make a new thread.

Last night I cleaned the top part of the rear mechanism. Unfortunately, the bottom left screw on the jackpot was overtightened at some time and a piece was broken off. You can see the crack in the "Before" picture. There was also a little nib on the clear plastic jackpot cover (that you can see here) that is almost totally broken off but still attached with a little bit of plastic. I think a little bit of crazy glue will fix both of these but I may use epoxy to keep the plastic from getting brittle. I was happy that these white parts here will not require whitening.

I also cleaned and waxed some of the other parts from the back like the ball hopper and the two pieces that go below it. I also cleaned some covers from the lower section I posted about last. Tonight I am going to finish all of the parts that go on the back and start cleaning some of the play field pieces. Tomorrow during the day I will be trying my hand at retrobriting.

Time spent last night: 2 hours
    Total time spent: 30 hours
