Default Any experienced pachinko owners in WA

I'm having some problems with my Ghost in the Shell pachinko machine, and it seems to be beyond my knowledge and skill level. Just wondering if there are any other pachinko owners in WA state who might be able to take a look at it?

I noticed that the cell won’t go back in the frame easily. Some wires got pulled out of the rear bundle (but they don’t seem to affect the machine at all) and the ball return mod that was put in by the original owner broke off of the bottom of the cell. So I’m concerned about those three things affecting gameplay and my peace of mind about the machine.

I need help putting the mod back on properly so the balls don’t jam up in the cell, and figuring out why the cell is not sitting right. And figuring out the wires maybe.

I will try to take photos, but I worry about removing the cell to take photos of the frame and cell separately, because it's really difficult to put back in. You have to force it for some reason.

I suggest to start slow with a couple front pictures. Open the glass door and the lower door exposing the ball launching area. Take several pictures from the front area of the ball exit hole and the plastics surrounding where the cell and the frame connect. Someone may see something out of place there.

A prior owner may have altered the ball routing on the cell itself or more involved, the frame which has many layers when taking apart. I mention this because I bought an AKB Team Surprise cell that I had problems with and found it was modified. Thankfully this was an easy reversal in my case.

BTW for what it's worth; all of my OK/Kyoraku cells have a stiff "snap" in the lower area when inserting them. Lifting up on the cell a little seems to help some. This is why I prefer to remove the door when working on these removing the dead weight hanging in the way.

I’ve taken some photos. And I tried to glue the modded ramp back on. I don’t know if it will work or hold yet though.

The frame was definitely altered by the previous owner. You can see where several parts of the frame were "brutally" modified. It's not pretty, but when the frame is closed you don't see it. The issue is the wires which came undone, as well as the ball return ramp mod, and my concern with the cell not fitting back in the frame when reinserted. It takes a LOT of effort to get it back in. It seems to not align with the lower right side; the cell sticks out too far to push in so the clamps can grab it and snap shut.

Wow this one is way above my paygrade as I've done little work with such alterations. That said, others have and hopefully will chime in with some insight.

Looks like your extra black and red wire pair was added with a ball sensor along with the mod in your 6th and 8th? pics. Best I could offer at a later date are some original pictures of the frame layout if you wanted to try and restore it from all the cut outs.

Actually, seeing the original frame layout would be helpful because then I can see what was done to it. I doubt I can restore it. Unless someone has some spare parts or a junk frame I could pull the molded pieces from?

I'll get some pics in a couple days for some future reference if you'd like. (I just had some outpatient spinal work done so I need to go slow for a bit.) It could be worth your time contacting pachinko resellers asking for a frame replacement starting in the US or import one direct from Japan. You still have the correcting of the cell to do also.

The kyoraku's have an exit ball detector. To make sure someone isn't falsely impulsing the start pocket sensor. After 50 pocket hits it will go into error if the exit sensor is not connected. It's probably the wiring for this sensor. Either by-passed or moved.
