I just purchased a pachislo from a pawn shop. A Sammy (police version)
Lights up error code E1 has door key no reset key power supply box. Trying to locate one now on eBay. No tokens either. Looking for some on eBay. I’ve noticed lower red lights on power box panel light up while depressing reset on face . Not mine face of power box inside. Unit or cabinet came with one token. Took coin hopper apart to check functionality or jammed coins. Seemed okay. Any recommendations or suggestions appreciated.

If they have been left switched off for a while. They need a hard reset. That would be a good start. If you don't have a reset key. It may have already been changed for a rocker switch instead of key switch.

Only door key was included when purchased. Don’t quite follow your response. Rocker? Do I need to unplug for a while? Trying to locate a replacement key for power box on internet now.

remove the keyed lock and replace it with a rocker on off style of switch..

Speaking of computer resets I remember back in 1993-1997 when I was a Bowling Center Mechanic the AMF lane Camera Scoring computers sometimes froze up and I did a soft reset or cold reset to get them back up or, if the internal components had a fault ,replace them with the spare Curtain Wall (mechanics side of the bowling center ) Chassis (computer)

With the Pachislot the system is simple as long as the components are working well. Switch , either by electronic key or rocker switch usually gets the system back up.
