Might be hard to find a dual secondary transformer with unbalanced outputs. I did a fast check on Newark Electronics site and only saw mirrored outputs. Somebody might make a 24/6 vac dual output, but it might have to be a custom made one. It would be more work, but I suppose you could use one 24vac output to feed a voltage regulator circuit that rectifies and limits the output to 6vdc.

I'm no electrician, but know some basics. I don't know about 2 transformers. The transformer steps down 12ovac to 25.2v...does not state ac or dc. The 24v then goes to the primary windings of the motor. As I understand it...the primary windings around the iron core create an electromagnet out of the iron core. As you can see, there are no permanant magnets in this motor. I suspect the windings in the armature are fine...just the electromagnet windings.
Does any of this make sense?
