    if it is an arrange ball machine reach into on of the holes on the non hinge side.. there is one of a couple different style of latches.. most are a lift style so you catch the latch with a finger and lift up.. there are two top and bottom latches they are connected so lifting one will lift the other.. less common is a center style latch where you have to pinch two tabs together.. there easy to spot cause the hole is unusually in the center and you can see the two tabs..
