    We have good news!
The new transformer (one of these - https://www.amazon.co.uk/240v-120v-S...tage+Converter) has solved the problem.

It seems that the first transformer I had wasnt powerful enough.

Thanks everyone for putting me on the right track!

Great, glad that was it. Apologize for the confused talking I was doing. At the time I was reading the posts, I was trying to do some business at my desk and it did not have my full attention. When I tried to correct myself, I still screwed what I was trying to say. As for amp volts, I am used to working more with amps and not thinking clearly there either, should have caught the amp volt instead of amps. My main thought was the power supply was overloaded and CB tripping and being a thermal control, it reset after cooling. I guess that was it.

It's all good. I got what you meant anyway.
I was thinking there was an issue with the machine itself until you all put me on the track of the transformer, so it's all worked out well!

So I live here in Texas and have a Pachi-slo Double Diamond Type -A, the transformer inside the cabinet that's mounted on the inside wall gets very hot and the lights start dimming and the machine starts acting funny with power cutting out and whatnot, the transformer was replaced by a previous owner and I'm wondering if anyone can lead me in the right direction on getting the correct one? I'll try to attach a picture of the original one that came with it as he gave it to me with the machine...?
