So these modern machines need 24v to run and I would need a 110v-24v transformer correct?

Transformers come in a wide variety. This gives you an idea for 115v input, 24v output, and 5, 6, and 8 amp with additional options.

The newer machines require more power. My first pachinko machine would always shut down halfway through a fever round. I found out that it had a transformer only putting out 1.4 amps. This would overheat and the thermal cut-off switch would reset after cooling down. Some have internal thermal switches or circuit breakers on the outside. This is my replacement which works well at 6 amps never getting hot.

I'm really loving this forum lol. Pinball and arcade machines are another one of my hobbies so I'm familiar with transformers, soldering, pin connecting and such. But the exact transformer that I need linked is awesome thank you! I also like the built in circuit breaker. I think I'll order one once I get the confirmation from fromjapan that it's ordered.

    Ditto above.
My Cutie Honey machine had a 150va transformer and the machine was rated at 150va. But sometimes the screen cut out. The transformer was hot and when I measured the output voltage it had dropped to 18v. I replaced the transformer with a 180va version and it worked fine.
Now all my machines have a 250va (10.4 amp) transformer.

Oh how is the Cutie Honey machine? I was thinking about getting that one before I decided on the 09 Kinnikuman.
