    Default Help with new machine

My wife found this little beauty in a thrift store last spring. She paid about $50 for it and it looks fairly intact. I have no background on slot machines or how they work. I am pretty handy and feel I could work on this thing. Any leads on wiring specs or mechanical workings would be great. I can get more pics later. Thanks IMG_1466.jpg

Do you have an issue with it now? I have a kero kero pulsar, same type. I may be able to help out.

As it sits it's not working now. Looks like some impatient jerk took some channel locks and twisted the lock assembly out. (No big deal) Opening it it looks like things are all there. At least what's obvious to me. The plug is missing and the cap for the in line fuse is missing the cap. Other than that not too sure what else could be wrong.

As it sits it's not working. The plug is missing and cap for the fuse, looks like a 10amp glass style fuse. Other than that I am not sure what else is suppose to be in there. Maybe a larger hopper for coins to be stored above the dispenser.

You are missing the top part of your hopper... That's no biggie, a little cardboard or sheet metal will do in place. I'll attach pictures of mine to see if that helps.

You mean the transformer? Where does it attach to power the machine?

This is how mine is fused and ran from transformer. I hope it helps. I'm still a newbie at this but will do what I can to help you out :-) let me know if you need anything else. If the pictures won't great I can remove the transformer if you need.

Keep in mind that the way mine is wired may not be 100% correct for your machine, take caution, I'd hate to see something go wrong

Some machines are 100v some are 24v. Plug a 24v machine straight into your wall outlet and its bye bye machine.

That's exactly what I've been concerned about. Thanks for the heads up. Having everything printed on the inside not in English . (I won't even attempt to guess what it's in.) doesn't make it easy on which way to go. Thanks again for the input.

Cool thanks for the input. My biggest fear is burning it up on accident. Nothing being labeled in English really adds a bump in the road.

Ah that would be Japanese, all pachislos (and pachinkos) are Japanese machines

All pachislo I've had, have had the voltages in numeric so no problems with that, 24vac or 100vac

And after looking at things this morning, I think it's all 24volt. Just due to the labels on the coin dispenser and transformer. So does that mean if need and inverter or am I out of luck?

The big black box in the bottom left corner. see if you can slide it out, this is normally where the power goes in. there may be a socket or some cut off wires from it.

Awesome I'll slide that out and start the process. The transformer has all its wires cut. Some I'll have to figure how that's suppose to be wired up.
