Congrats on the Star Wars. I own one too, but haven't played it enough to hit a fever yet.

The vendor should send you a replacement bulb for free if the bulb was burnt out upon arrival.

about 97% of all modern machines are quiet during the attracted mode (ie not being played) All of mine are silent, And will only make noise once a ball has gone into the start pocket.

Any questions have a quick browser or just ask

    here we go:
should the machine pay out when you get a ball in start or will it only pay out in fever mode. i note that there are tswo settings on the hopper and am not sure how these should be set:
on the ball track i have the manual lever set at closed and the white plastic knob for ball dump set at closed. what are the correct setting for getting a payout?
great machine to play everyone fascinated by it. unusual to see one in my neck of woods

Star wars has 4 different payouts. 3 for the start pocket. 4 for the tulip under the start pocket at the bottom, 10 for the bottom pockets and 15 for the fever door. If you look in the top right of the playing field you will see the name of the machine in japanese followed by some letters. they will tell you what fever probability is and also the numbers for payout per pocket. I think most in the UK are the ZF spec. I know my old one was,

Not sure what you mean by hopper settings. But for normal use. the pronged claw needs to be up and the ball dump closed, as these are only used in maintence. So the payout motor can be removed without emptying the machine, Of course this is for in the original parlours. But can be useful for home us too.

    Wife calling, got to go
