Hi, I bought this one - figured it would be a fun project to make a little cabinet and wall mount it

Thanks, I'm thinking I will build a cabinet that slides over the top and adds ball capacity to the reward hopper and something to expand the ball tray below. It looks like the lower ball tray can be unclipped. I'll figure out the details once it arrives

My Epoch pachinko came in today, I took it apart to see how viable my project is. The reward feeder design will have trouble with a large ball hopper but seemed to work fine with about 55 balls (almost 3x what the instructions recommend). The entire unit is easy to take apart, and convert to cyclic. Almost entirely plastic and cardboard construction

Access to the back is only required to load the balls (no needed if you create a hopper) or to drain the reward balls manually.

The bottom fold down bucket easily removes once the unit is disassembled. I'm going to look into maybe adding some additional lights and sound for fun.

I think your project sounds Rad!!

I'd suggest making a new thread about your new custom Epoch in the Pachinko Modifications forum, because honestly most people probably won't see it here!!

    And take lots of pics:

the one from #377 has had its BIN reduced from $150 to only $70..

Here's one that says its an Epoch and it does look like one of the older types with white balls, but they don't show the name on the box.. But here it is.. Coming from Japan but shown with a dollar for size comparison..DBZ theme..$80 BIN..

I got one a couple days ago with the original legs and all. http://www.ebay.com/itm/271005906680?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2 649For my nephew, to see if a real pachinko is worth the investment with him.Does the game feature the marble "payout" when the ball lands in a hole like the bigger machines do?I plan on picking up one or ten of these myself. I have a pachinko from about age 5-13, where it got broken and lost during a move. Also, hello everybody. Glad to find the forum.

The last one looks to have gotten one bid and sold for $25..

Today are 2 I'm not sure if I've posted before..Both have no legs or boxes and both seem to have broken ball trays (one says it is one looks like it is)..Both have balls and both are bit high with BINs of $30 + Shipping..
