Do you have any pictures you could post? That would help us determine the period and year. You might also get some additional information as well.

The date keeps coming back as July 2002 but I'm sure thats the CR version of the machine
But that doesn't look like a circuit board from 1981. The frame looks to clean too

It is King Hosuke V - and it is a Heiwa brand kenri. Thanks alphaminor.
If you need more info, just yell. Oh - the kanji is this キングホー助V if you want to do searches in Google yourself for videos and other blogs from Japanese owners?
There is always another machine around the corner...

The machine is not from January. The hall debut was in July according to the Heiwa website, Pachinko Vista, P-World, and etc.
The last letter of the three letter code (not posted) is for the month of manufacture.
The name in Nihongo is キングホー助Ｖ. Only one of the characters is kanji.

The rest is minor, but correct samhain - the first 5 characters are indeed KATAKANA, only the second last is kanji, and the final character is the romaji 'V', to be 100% technically correct.
Either way, copy the japanese we gave you, input it in Google, and you'll come up with some more info for yourself.
