Default A good buy or a waste of time?

Just bought my first machine last Saturday... I've spent this week combing ads looking for my second...

This came up on Craigslist about an hour away from me... do you think it's a decent deal? Can you tell from the pictures if it's complete or not?

    Thanks in advance.

it is a mid 70's machine, I can see water damage on the cell even with the horrid pics and there are parts missing from the jackpot area but I can't tell what all is missing. When I first started this hobby I would have jumped on that but now I would be in the $20-$25 range depending on how far of a drive it was

Once you get the fever, it is tempting to buy any and every machine that you come across. I did that myself. Then, I found myself with many machines that upon further reflection, I really didn't want, nor did I really want to spend the time fixing up. Pachinkos have a tendency to just show up on Craigslist and Ebay...my suggestion is to spend time working on the first one that you purchased, and be a bit more discerning about your second and third one. Chances are, you will be presented with an opportunity closer to home and a better machine than the one you are looking at. Unless you can get it for $25 or so, a two hour roundtrip drive seems steep for that machine.

My two cents only...certainly, everyone has different opinions. Best of luck to you.
I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?

Thanks guys, that's about what I figured. I just don't have a sense of what's rare or desirable yet.

The first machine is already good to go Bigdog... I bit of disassembly for cleaning of the channels, complete rewire, a new piece of plexiglass, and some feet got us rolling. My daughter and I have been playing all week...

good point Mopar, I missed the side tross pockets... That bumps my willingness to pick that one up as long as it is just covers and not most of the payout missing but my top would still be about $35-$40 max (with the needed parts for it to work still there)
