The machine is nice, just not what I personally like.

I like my Thunderbirds. The only problem (and everyone I've talked to with one has had the same problem) is that there is a LOUD hum from the speakers. It's caused by the video screen. The work-around is to install L-pads. Then turn the volume up louder than usual with the 3 position switch. Then bring the volume (and the hum) back down with the L-pad.

In car stereos, don't you have to add a noise suppressor to get rid of the hum. Wouldn't you have to do the same thing with these.

Oh, I do like my Thunderbird pachislo. Not as much as my Gamera. But still, it is fun to play. The video is captivating.
