OK here are pics of wiring, what the light holder looks like and the loader that is missing from yours. If you need more shots or of another area it will be easy now that I have it out

Talking Re: Anyone have parts for a Kyoraku?

    Hank,

Would you mind snapping a few other pics for me? If you would take a closeup pic of the back at the bottom where the 'winner balls" exit
and just above there where the small black plastic piece holds the "winner bar". Also, I am trying to find the bulb holders for the "winner lights" and didn't know if they are able to be popped out so I could see what they look like. Appreciate the help.

OK, here are the updated pictures of Popeye after taking apart everything that was possible to be taken apart and cleaned. Still have to get the lights working and work on getting overflow tray repaired. Sorry ebb, the one I got from you wouldn't fit with this layout but thanks for trying to help. I think I am going to have to wet sand the hell out of it (and take my time ) and try to repaint it. Still have repaint some of the winner pockets and other plastic pieces.

I can get the machine to work when I bypass the solenoid (electric shooter) but I would really like to get that working. Anyone know what type of transformer is needed?

A big for all the help.

It is in the loading/shooting mec. Here are a couple of pics. I used a nail to hold it shut so it would load.

Here is a pic of the contacts behind the solanoid in the front and the back behind the flipper. Also is a pic of the switch which connects to the contacts. I think that the used ball (whether it is a winner ball or miss) trips the contact upon exiting which then loads a ball for the next shot. Problem is that where the contact is, there is a small balck plastic piece that rotates out to trip the switch but it is on a separate exit tube from the others and I don't know how a ball ever gets into it. Check out the 3rd pic in owennewton's post above. Looks like I am missing the bottom contact while he is missing the upper one?

and in mine the upper plastic arm that you pinned with the nail was removed so power was not needed to make the loader work

It looks like ours are different in where the switch is located in the back as my chute does not have the outer extension that yours does. I must be missing to pieces. The black arm that hangs over the winner arm and one that connects it all together. Then again I don't have a whole lot of ecperience trying to figure out the electrical part of these. It would be my preference to get it to work the correct way.

does not make sense that a shot ball would trip the solonoid to allow the next ball to be shot... a player can shoot balls faster then the machine will allow another ball to advance to the shooter..

when im playing some times i can shoot fast enought to have 4 or 5 balls on the play field at one time.. some times not matter how fas ya shoot the balls find there way threw the nails so fast that there is only one at a time???

you have a most unusual machine... (at least i think so )

best of luck geting it to work like is was intended

`I think the solinoid is for when winning balls back up in the lower tray on the front. When they back up it pushes a plate out, opening a leaf switch and shutting off the solinoid. when that happens it blocks balls from going to the shooter. So on mine (both of them) they took the arm out to keep it working without having to have power.

I replaced the one that was on there with a new one from Lowes which I looped it around the post (doubled it up). What did you see wrong with the one that was on there?
