Is it just me or is this crap getting out of hand . Some mother with her eyes half shut due to lack of sleep doesn't latch the side and now they want to ban cribs with drop rails ... come on we had cribs with lead paint and missing hardware and slats wide enough to get your head stuck in pillows stacked up blankets galore and stuffed animals with buttons to choke on not to mention flamable materials and we slept on our backs till the back of our heads were flat and we liked it ... we survived...at least if you buy an American crib your attorney will know who to sue I guess...

I remember as a little kid coming home once with a black eye, my dad had been cut off and jammed on the brakes, I was in the back seat and hit my head on the back hard plastic of the front seat.
