If by power supply they mean the transformer, they rarely go bad, hope it isn't something else. If your going to pick it up in person, I'd take a good transformer with you and check it out first. Might be a blown fuse too

oh, that's stuff i'm unfamiliar with =( i wouldnt know how to hook up transformers and what not, maybe this pachi is "out of my league" hah. Also it's about a two hour drive, so it's kind of a far drive for a fubar pachi!

Maybe it's time for a road trip. Weather's gettin nice, put the top down, wind in your hair...

Never hurts to have a spare transformer around for testing machines and such.

Dont get me wrong, i love summer road trips (it's in milwaukee area), me and my girlfriend would go and spend the whole day! But, I wouldn't know how to troubleshoot the pachi, or how to take the transformer off one of my current machines and hook it up to that one. So maybe i'd get stuck with a lemon machine!
I love the theme of the pachi, it looks goofy/silly probably some fun music and animations however I wouldn't know how to restore it to working order. I emailed the guy and said (without thinking) could i get pictures of the machine on and he said "It won't turn on" im assuming he plugs it in and nothing happens. hmmm

some times no better way to learn is to roll up your sleaves and go for it...

i feel your pain about working on new machines.. but the last few months have been verry educational... i would have never bought my vintage electro shooter of had the nerver to buy and fix the Arepachi i now have

hooking up a transformer is perty basic give it a shot so long as the price is right

I guess thats true, the idea of learning these things does intrigue me, but I'd have to take a transformer off one of my beloved pachi's to bring to the gentlemans house, and to mess with one of those scares me!
